Dublin Day-Trips
Our two weeks in Dublin combined a wonderful immersion in the city of Dublin with wide-ranging experience of the major sites surrounding Ireland's major city. We made three extensive day-trips, each of which was unforgettable. These trips were particularly remarkable for the great variety they exhibited of Irish culture. From burial tombs that pre-date the pyramids to political murals painted in Belfast just a few years ago, these trips further defined for us the range and striking texture of Irish life.
First Trip: Newgrange, Tara, Mellifont, Monasterboice
