The Literary Pub Crawl
No visit to Dublin is complete without taking in the famed Literary Pub Crawl. This tour, which begins nightly at the Duke Pub off Grafton Street, covers a range of literary sites that are associated with Dublin pub life or Dublin drinking culture. (As one can imagine, the range that allows is quite broad.) At each stop, the tour leaders (professional actors) perform a famous literary scene, or relate a great literary anecdote. Each tour generally takes in 4 famous Dublin pubs, and is a great way to get a sense of Dublin's inimitable pub culture.
