Western Ireland Tour, Day 2: the Aran Islands
The Aran Islands consist of 3 islands: the largest is the northernmost island, Arainn (its traditional Irish name), also called Inishmore; the middle island is Inis Meain, and the island closest to the Clare coast is Inis Oirr, which is the smallest of the islands. We spent our day and night on Arainn, and arrived there by ferry in the mid-morning.
On the Ferry, crossing Galway Bay, from Rossaveal into Kilronan
