Parkovenear Castle

Parkovenear Castle is situated near Aghadoe Church, in a field just below the Church ruins.  It is a round tower dating to the 13th century, but curiously little is known about the Castle.  It's traditional name is "The Bishop's Chair," perhaps referring to the Bishop who once occupied Aghadoe.  It too commands a spectacular view of Lough Leane.
