The Rock of Cashel (Cashel Trip)

Cormac's Chapel

This chapel, consecrated in 1134, still stands today as a remarkably well-preserved site.  It is nestled against and within the overall structure of Cashel, distinct in its construction of local quarried sandstone (hence its golden color).
